The Workshop
Stitcheria is one embroidery machine, in one room, run by one person. There’s no production floor, no shift of operators, no outsourced factory somewhere else doing the actual work. When you order something, it’s stitched on this machine, on hoops I set by hand, with thread I change myself.
What the machine can — and can’t — do
My machine is a [[MACHINE_MODEL]] with a maximum hoop size of [[MAX_HOOP_SIZE]]. That’s a limit, not an apology. A single hoop keeps a design honest: it has to fit the space it’s given, which means choosing thread colours and stitch density that actually work rather than whatever a bigger, faster machine would allow without thinking. Some jobs genuinely aren’t right for this machine — oversized panels, some stretch fabrics, very fine photographic detail. If a job isn’t a good fit, I’ll say so before you pay for it, not after.
Made to order, not made to sit on a shelf
I don’t keep a warehouse of pre-stitched stock in every size and colour, waiting for someone to buy it. Garments are made to order: you choose the design and the base garment, and the machine runs once your order is placed. That means less waste — no shelf of unsold mediums in a colour nobody picked — and it means every single piece is checked as it comes off the hoop, not pulled off a rack by whoever’s on shift.
Stitched, not printed
Embroidery isn’t printing. A printed design sits on top of the fabric as ink, and ink cracks, fades and peels with washing and wear. Stitching is thread pulled through the fabric itself — it becomes part of the garment’s structure, not a layer sitting on it. That’s why an embroidered logo still looks sharp after years of washing, long after a printed one has usually gone patchy and grey.
Honest lead times
Lead times here are real, because a person is sitting at the machine — not a bank of machines running unattended overnight. Digitising a new design, changing thread, running a hoop through a full colour sequence: all of that takes actual hours.
